Today I got to do a session with Greta and Rowan. Both of them, I was told, are camera shy. Hmmm....I thought they were both hams! They were absolutely FABULOUS and I loved every minute of their session. So here is a sneak peek of their great session:
Bonus shots! Buddy came with me to socialize (he has a few socialization/anxiety challenges...):

...and I had to include a shot of Dakota, the distinguished gentleman (13 years old!) of the house:

I am loving the digital painting. It is a great de-stresser! This one is of Kanga, who happens to be very special to me. She was the only dog present at my wedding (and she was great) and belongs to one of my best friends. She also has become a "big sister" recently with the addition of a real baby in her house. So, I chose to paint this photo I took back in May...and figured it might be nice to paint another breed of dog besides pug (although I could paint pugs all ay long). So here is Kanga:

I got to have a session with two beautiful Golden Retrievers today - Amber and Bonnie. These were two of the sweetest girls I have worked with. We took them to a park and they were enjoying every minute of it from rolling in the grass to chewing on sticks. As I was saving the images, I went through and picked out just a few for a sneak peek of the session (and it was hard to pick just these few - we got some great images today):
I haven't posted in forever so thought I would share a few things that I've done in the past, well, however long it's been. First up, a senior session:
and a pug named Gizmo who stayed with us for a week (he was awesome!):
and some more pugs, whose parents won their session in the auction at Pugs on Parade for Alabama Pug Rescue in April:
I had lots of great individual shots of each of them, but I wanted to show off how well they did all sitting for their portraits! They are an amazing pack of pugs!
And lastly, a new logo for Off the Leash:
We were at our friends' house the other day showing previews to them from their session and as we were leaving, j. picked some flowers for us. They were too pretty to just let sit, so I took them and my most cooperative model, Dodie, out and did a few pictures. It was fun to do something else different!
I met up with my buddy Shawn of Gypsy Isle Photography in Pensacola who had arranged for us to have two models to do some beach sessions with. Check out her blog for her shots, too! Kappie and Summer were awesome (a far cry from dogs...although I did catch myself saying "stay" a lot). We had such fun with these two. They are both beautiful and so much fun! So, without further ado (I know you are anxious, Summer!) here are a few sneak peeks for you:
The Pugs and I got to take a trip to Florida to visit a couple of friends and their twelve dogs (eight Pugs and four Chihuahuas). It was so amazing...you'd never know there were sixteen dogs in the house (you know, including my four). All of the pugs pictured here are rescues...some with stories that broke my heart. And a couple of them stole my hearts, too! Especially a little boy who likes to steak shoes and chew things and a regal lady "in retirement" at the "Pug Chateau". So here are a few shots from our incredible trip. We were spoiled rotten while we were there and I think the Pugs were sad to come home! Thanks so much for the great time! Oh, and if you are looking for harnesses, collars, clothes or practically anything else for smaller dogs, please visit the Pug Chateau online!
