weekend session with six dogs

So every once in a while you have to do a session for you. So when I heard that there was a chance to do a session with a French Bulldog and a Boston Terrier, I was very excited. But little did I know that there would be bonus dogs! Four extras, to be exact, and they were all great. It was so much fun and I have to say that every single one of them was amazing. They were so good! And yes, you are seeing right...one was a pug! (And one was a tiny baby Old English Bulldog.) Here are a few of my favorites so far:

website and email are working

Just an update to let you know that the website and email are working again. Sorry for any inconvenience the outage last week caused. I am just glad and relieved that everything seems to be working as it should!

atlanta

We went up to Atlanta to walk around and look at the tornado damage (I know, not really a great thing to do) and since I thought we were going hiking when we left, I took my camera. So here are a few shots. We really didn't see too much because as soon as we got there, another storm was on its way, so we waited it out under a building's overhang and then got out of there. My son, Caleb, was in the Georgia Dome last night watching Mississippi State and Alabama play in the SEC tournament (he is a senior at Mississippi State) and so got in on all if it firsthand (he was not impressed or happy about it, either, but MSU won...). So anyway, here are some of them...I am just grateful that it wasn't worse.

website problems

If you have tried to email me or go to my website in the last few days, you may not have been able to do so. The server I use is apparently experiencing some big technical difficulties and I have not gotten any client email since Saturday because of it. Also, all day today the website has been down. Please email me here until further notice! And hopefully I will be able to be up and running soon!

Thanks and I appreciate your patience!

two bichons

Also this past weekend, I got to do a session with two Bichon gentlemen, Billingsley and Sebastian. "Bill" is 15 years old and amazing. He is s such a sweet, good-natured guy and was a great model. Sebastian is a youngster at 10, and acted just like a puppy. These two were wonderful and it was a pleasure meeting them and their mom! Here are some sneak peeks of our session:

bentley and chuckie

This weekend I had a great session with Bentley and Chuckie, two older gentlemen pugs.  Some of you may know that I have a soft spot for the older guys, so this was a particularly fun session for me.  Not to mention that their dad is a fabulous wedding photographer so that meant even more fun talking shop and all. And their mom was totally patient and awesome with them and the whole shop talking thing. They brought a fisheye lens and that was really fun.  Plus, we had 70 degree weather and it was an absolutely beautiful day.  Oh, and for anyone interested, I got a great Lightroom tutorial and these were almost all processed in Lightroom (I know...I know, but it was so EASY). So, anyway, here are a few from their session:
